How to accept an offer on my property 

One of the most important decisions that you will make throughout the home selling process is whether to accept an offer. 

 

An offer can either be accepted or rejected. Make sure to take your time so that you don't rush into accepting an offer on your house without thinking carefully. 

 

Once an offer has been made on your property, it's important to discuss your options with estate agents so that you know what will work best for both you and the buyer. 

What happens after I accept an offer? 

 

After you accept an offer your estate agent will give you all the information that will be involved in this part of the process. For example, the buyer will need to pay for searches which their solicitor will need to request. Once they are back enquires will be raised. When the buyer solicitor is satisfied with enquiries they will then be able to agree dates. 

 

How do I know if it's a good deal? 

 

As a seller, it's important to know if an offer is a good one. For example, if the buyer offers you more money than others have, the buyer might be offering you a higher price because they think that the market has a better value for your property.  

You should also consider whether the purchase price is within your range of what you would want to receive from the sale of your property. 

When should I start to look for another place to live? 

The answer to this question is different for everyone. A good rule of thumb is to start looking for another place to live before it has gone through, if you are comfortable with that.
